Things You Should Know about Turf?

Seam Inspections are No Small Task

A typical football field with soccer lines, end-zone letters, and a center logo has over 15,000 linear feet of seams. That's over 3 miles of seams.  It's not enough to walk the seams.  A complete seam inspection should take a crew several hours.

Low Infill Levels are a Big Concern for Safety and Performance

A small group survey was conducted by Turf Inspect on 15 fields at least 5 years old.  The study found that the target infill depths were low on 9 fields or 60% of all the fields inspected.

Maintenance Practices are the Key to a Healthy Field and to Extend the Life of Your Turf

The 5 fields that ranked high in the survey had one thing in common.  A well-developed and consistent maintenance program.  The appearance of these fields was much better than the other 9 in the survey and exhibited less fiber wear and tear.  Maintenance and Infill depth is key to extending the life of your turf field.
